Well this guys isn't wrong. Most of us ignored the immigration debate (myself included) and we'll probably do the same if we get thrown a life line and Congress manages to pass something.

And let's not pretend that "we have to take of ourselves so we can save the rest" is genuine. Ask most DACA recipients what the bare minimum they would take from the DACA debate and most say at least a work permit with the ability to travel. Travel for family emergencies, education, or business? Nah, we wan't to go take selfies at some tourist destination somewhere.

It's human nature, and like I said I've done and thought the same, but it's still a shitty feeling when you realize that you never put up a fight.
