I want to know what "non-criminals" means. Is it ticket for driving under the influence? Is it a parking ticket?

The former - deserves to be deported. You do not violate a rule that can potentially kill someone. Deport them. I 200% applaud for that. Parking ticket - c'mon, that's stupid for deportation.

Everytime I read something about deportation, it almost always turn out to be someone with some kind of conviction such as rape and gang violence, or some kind of fraud. For example, the activist Ravi Ragbir - I was curious why ICE wanted to deport him and it turned out he was a fraud, stealing money from seniors in the 90s. The argument for protecting him from deportation is that he has already served time and shouldn't be "tried for the second time" which is illegal. I don't know - mixed feelings about him. I'd rather have an illegal who never commits any crime - a hardworking, honest person rather than a convicted felon. Sorry, Ravi.
