Even though I checked new, I still put a copy of my old EAD card and approval letter. Idk, these forms need to be more clear.

No need to include your old EAD card unless you are including it under other evidence as a form of government ID. The trick to filing these forms is to provide only what the instructions ask of you to provide nothing extra. I was a self filer for DACA and for my Adjustment of Status. Was never asked for anything additional.
