The same thing Trump demanded and rejected, He is now using as a reason for not Giving us DACA. The REALLY sad thing about this is there should not have even been a bargaining chip thrown out for DACA. If Trump or republicans had any soul they would have passed DACA and then perhaps later try to drive a hard bargain for broader immigration reform.

Instead Trump strategically used us as hostages by proposing to end DACA, He then used the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) extension to try and pit the rest of Americans against us. I believe the military spending was also on the line. Democrats had no reason but to cave as military members not getting pensions and American kids healthcare on the line was in essence a suicide mission if they continued to hold out.

There is Nothing wrong with trying to be optimistic but lets not be delusional while we are at. Short of a miracle or trump desperately needing a distraction from his never-ending Russia probe scandal we aren't getting shit from him.

He is a racist POS who is rooting up undocumented black and brown people all over the country and deporting them while at the same time hosting Russian anchor Baby services at his Mar-A-Lago property. This was never really about immigration as a whole. For Trump and The GOP -- it is about ethnic cleansing.

Things have gotten so Gestapo like since Trump took office that Ice is even targeting immigrant activists and I 'm not just talking about the undocumented ones. Immigration enforcement is also Targeting legal naturalized US citizens by scouring through their applications to look for any kind of discrepancies to revoke their green cards or citizenship status.

As long as we come to terms with the fact that this is not personal with Trump, and this is not politics as usual! This a dying breed of racist corrupt Right wing politicians and their voters trying to hang on to power by any means necessary...we are just victims caught in the crossfire and being used for propaganda and fear tactics for that specific agenda.

Our Only hope right now is the Democratic Party winning and doing right by us or a third party getting in the mix. Mark my words...If republicans are successful in what they are doing this country will be well on the way to become a full blown authoritarian regime/ dictatorship at which point all this won't matter anyways ---as the last place we should want to hang around is here.
