literally what Donald Trump tried to do (and failed). He was calling for extreme vetting of Syrian refugees too, without knowing too much about what the status quo system actually involves.
Ironically, a Dreamer who's constantly accused of "not just getting legal" by people who don't know shit about the immigration process is now defending a Trumpesque policy... because they don't know shit about the refugee vetting process.
