Connecticut is a great state with regards to treatment of immigrants and this is no surprise to me. Every state has its disadvantage. In Connecticut the problem is the fiscal situation which is leading to higher and higher taxes and higher and higher welfare (always being blamed on "illegals" as usual but undocumented are NOT eligible for ANY SORT of such benefit in CT) but I'm hopeful that it will get better with a new Governor.
