When you say December last year, you mean December 2017, right? Thanks for your response. I'm just trying to get an idea on when we should do it. I have DACA for two years, so barring anything happening, we'd like to get this done before I expire.

Yeah I went through a lawyer because the i-601A seems like a complicated process to me, also I have only that one illegal entry and no other criminal background btw the I-130 was received on 12/8/17. I recently sent my renewal for DACA as well hopefully that buys me two more years and by then I'll have my green card, lawyer said with my case it could be from a year to a year and a half to complete. I think if you do it soon the two years you have left on DACA should give you time to complete the process. Good luck!
