2. Under express entry, Canada has a maximum time frame of 6 months for application processing for majority of the candidates whereas for Australia is ranges between 8–12 months.
3. Australia has a very small list of occupations to choose from. If you don’t have education and work experience in any of those occupations, you are not eligible to apply. If you wish to look beyond this list, you will need to go for state sponsorship, which under the current circumstances are also very limited and oblige you to commit to stay in the nominating state for two years. Canada on the other hand has a long list of occupations to nominate a skill from.
4. The cost of applying for PR is way cheaper for Canada.

Yes from what I know Canada is cheaper and perhaps faster (personally for me Australia was too far from the US)
And Trudeau has relaxed the rules somewhat. For those who qualify, it’s best to apply before a conservative government comes in (his popularity is down). I don’t know too much but the other Daca person in Canada with me had looked in to Australia. Will see if they can provide more info.
As for what Swim mentioned, I’d like to add that if you are able to find a job here, you certainly don’t need as many points then since they assign the highest points to those with a job offer (although I did not have one). Also, from my limited experience, US job experience is looked at favorably here. Not trying to get anyone’s hopes high but I think it’s worth looking in to. Also, learning French will help get you points.
Check out this forum. It’s where I got most of my info when submitting my application. Let me know if you guys have any questions.
