Intolerance of intolerance towards lgbt people (whichI'm part of) is not bigotry. You're on the wrong side of history, as are the majority of conservatives who want us out of this country. Sorry pal the right side of history is written by the winners and the world is facing a rise of facism, nationalism, and sadly closed mindedness like yourself. You believe yourself to be progressive, but simply cant coexist with those who you seek to drive out. I coexist with those who I may or may not like, because I am a true progressive.
Protecting the speech of those who you dislike is what a patriot would do. Speaking up for those who you have no battle for is progressiveness. Speaking out in defense of the downtrodden, even if they are on the other "team" is what true progressivism is about.
