So a democrat gave you DACA. A republican gets rid of it. For some reason, you agree that they should get rid of DACA and all you get is urgency and you lose your safety net. That urgency isn't to convince democrats, but to convince republicans to give you pity and help you out. You're willing to remove your safety net for the smallest chance that republicans show you mercy. Do they think they will? Have they shown that, in policy or in real negotiation? No.

What's needed is leverage, not a small chance that republicans show you mercy, which is what dems will have when they control the house on Jan 3rd. There should be no mention of DACA from them until then or Trump will blast dems for supporting open boarders and illegal immigration (he's already doing that now but it has less of a backbone). If you recall, the government is still in a partial shutdown. If dems mention DACA right now they'll get murdered. If you recall, the last shutdown republicans were leveraging CHIP and saying "look, dems care more about illegals than american children". You want them to start saying that again? You think that helps your cause? Because asking for dems to bring up DACA right now, you're just giving republicans more firepower and put the blame of this shutdown on dems. Not just dems, on illegal immigration so the chances of a DACA deal going through goes down.

The people saying that's nancy's nasty plan, are you a mind reader? Even if it's true, is Nancy's plan more "nasty" than what the republicans have done? You have a party that wants to legalize you in 2020 and one that does not. Yet you call the party that wants to legalize you "nasty?"
