Probably referring to the original BRIDGE Act written by Durbin. Miller et al. wrote the current one with the poison pills that did not include some current DACA holders.
If you're expecting anything more than the OG BRIDGE Act or at most renewable DACA, you're either underestimating Republicans or overestimated Democrats.
Not saying something permanent isn't possible, but it's more unlikely. We can hope for the best of course.
