At this point it’s better for everyone but trump if the democrats don’t cave in. Daca isn’t going anywhere, no court wants to end it and the Supreme Court has decline to it for the NOw well until sometime this year at least We safety say daca is here to stay for at least 2021.
And to be honest I don’t think trump even wants a wall now, what will be his biggest focus for 2020 race?

I may be wrong on this but I think this would be a great opportunity for Dems to force Trump into accepting a proposal that gives us citizenship. Nobody wants the crappy 3yr DACA.
The house passes a wall/dreamact bill and present it to everyone as it being most common sense, generous, and bipartisan proposal. Trump won't think again about doing a shutdown because everyone will know the offer was clearly on the table.
