I wanted to share my story with you all on how many appointment went. A little back story I've been waiting over a year and a half for my AOS interview. I have been marries to my USC wife for 7 years and have 3 children. We have house, new cars and insurance plans all under both our names. I had daca first for a few years and then got AP. I left to Mexico and visited my dad. Everything went well and I applied for AOS back in July of 2017. I filed everything myself and will be happy to share more if need be.

My appointment was for 8:45 and we arrived 30 min early. Thank god we did because there was a long line to get into the building's security. There was swearing in for large group of people. We were sent to another lobby that was not very crowded very quiet. I was sharing my anxiety and stress with the room and can tell everyone else was in the same state of mind. We waited for 15 min at most and were called in shortly. The Officer was very nice and made some small talk. Her office was stacked with cases in the room. It first started with her looking at our Id's. She asked us to stand and swear we tell the truth. I can remember she had the exact file I sent in. She first started to ask my wife simple questions like name date of birth pretty much the everything on the first page of a I-130. They also asked her some questions on when and where we were married. She asked her parents names and last names. She asked me to scan my finger prints on index fingers and also took my picture. I was asked also the same questions and also her name and birthday. I was also the date of my entry. Also when my last entry was. She specifically asked if I ever entered illegally. I stated when I was 2 years old when my mother brought me in. I had never left again till I had AP. She wrote a quick note and made sure it was noted. After that she asked for my medical form. This is where I messed up. When I first submitted my forms I sent it in then and she let me know that it was too old and needed to have another one. I didn't have a new one as I thought my first was good. Later once I checked what I did wrong and realized it was also revised form from 8 to a 13 page one. The agent asked I made sure the doc used the new form. She was very nice about the ordeal and let me know I can get it and bring it back asap. She said she will make adjudicate once she has the medical form. She typed up a form with a date that I can bring it back and remembered it would take about 1 week to get my results back. I told her if she can make the date I return for next Friday and also let me know we would only need to drop it off. She typed up the form and let us go. She shared a few things about her family like her daughter and where they are going to school. She was very nice and kind agent. I had mentioned to her If i get my medical back sooner and she let me know I can drop off any time before. Overall it went well except for that form and hopefully next week I can get this done. Hope this helps and best wishes to you all.
