There has been a huge spike of visa denial for people with an approved waiver. Before you leave the country, make sure you have good proof that you will not become a "public charge" in the U.S.
The man in the article has an approved I-601A but was denied a visa because the officer thinks he will be a drain on the system and now he is stuck in Mexico. He has 5 children on Medicaid and only can show a promise of an $18/hr job once he returns to the U.S. |

Why isn't the NVC letting the applicants know their sponsor don't make enough? NVC should be telling the applicant, "dude, your sponsor doesn't make enough money to support alone, if it comes to it. I'm not gonna schedule an appointment for you until your sponsor submits a form showing they have funds to support you."
If the NVC is okay with the numbers on the AOS form, embassy should not be pulling this crap.
