Don't even consider this as a path going anywhere. We've been down this road so many times, we all know the canción(song).
Someone puts up immigration bill, there is much squabbling to be had on both sides, they agree to disagree and it goes nowhere cause someone made a tempertantrum, more squabbling and wing flapping, and then the bill dies.
If the bill manages to survive all the henpecking and squabbling, then it gets blocked by whoever leads the respective chamber. Blocked for some dumb reason cause they can't say they hate browns out loud.
Been there, done that, YAWN let me know when actual progress is made. Squabbling isnt progress.
Sometimes theres a ton of squabbling and feathers get ruffled and the bill makes a fast and heavy moves like lightning, but it usually get stonewalled cause someone somewhere didn't like that one thing.
And the cycle repeats.
