Impeachment does not mean removal from office, it just starts the process. It will really put pressure on the executive branch to stop the stone walling. I don't think dems will stop the investigations and I don't think Trump will stop stone walling (mainly because he doesn't want people looking into his businesses) so probability of impeachment eventually is > 50%. If he pisses off Pelosi, > 70%. I'm not sure if Trump realizes that the only way to slow down investigations is to please the democrats and they willfully stop investigations and just let Trump serve out at least his first term. Otherwise, the rest of his term will just be investigations and possibly be charged with crimes when he's out of office and maybe even his family members will also be charged.

I really hope they work something out because this is not good for the country if The president gets impeached. I thought this bipartisan infrastructure bill was the start of them working together but I guess not. If today's talks were successful, Pelosi could've gone back to dems and said "hey look, we can work with Trump we don't have to go nuclear." They could've worked on DACA, infrastructure, drug costs, etc and that alone (additional work to be done) would've slowed down investigations. Now, it just looks like more grid lock.
