Have had DACA since 2014 and have been able to renew it 3 times. Fixed EWI through AP in January 2017. Super scary as Trump had just taken office but had to risk it. Bought a house with my boyfriend of 7 years at the time April 2017. We were married January 2018.

-Filed I-130 & I-485 in April 4, 2018
-Biometrics April 26, 2018
-Interview ready to be scheduled May 2, 2018
-Received EAD through AOS August 27, 2018
-Interview scheduled April 30, 2019 for 6/4/19
-Interview June 4, 2019. Approved on spot.

Interview lasted around 10-15 mins. IO was super nice and very friendly. Asked me the basic info of name, dob, name of parents, yes or no questions from I485 then asked the same of my same sex spouse. Then she asked for my medical, had not done it since at the time of filing it was only good for one year. She said that checked out then we were asked how we met and we both started to answer. My husband said sorry and nodded for me to answer and the IO said "no worries, I love it". I assume she means she loves it when couples get excited and start talking over each other. I told her how we met and our first two dates then she asked if we had any additional evidence. We handed her updates bills and records of things we already had along with pictures. She said she didn't need the updated ones just the pictures and next thing I know she says she is approving it and prints out an approval notice for us and one for our lawyer. I couldn't believe it and as we walked out of the building I just started crying. The entire drive over to get some lunch with my husband I just laughed and cried. Mixed emotions and it felt like everything I've always wanted was finally here. My husband was so happy for me. Yesterday the 5th all of my receipts changed to approved and the good old "On June 4, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number XXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us".

For evidence we submitted
-House deed
-Mortgage bill
-Joint checking account
-Joint credit card accounts (2)
-Facebook posts
-HOA bill
-Property taxes bill
-School taxes bill
-Water bill
-Retirement accounts that show each other as beneficiaries
-Life insurance that show each other as beneficiaries
-Income tax returns and W2's, plus Income tax transcripts
-Pictures plus copies of airlines tickets from trips and hotel reservations
-Marriage license, birth certificates, etc.

Seems like overkill but it got us a quick and on the spot approval.
Congrats. I got my GC in February of 2019.
