If we're talking Goodlatte bill or similar, it didn't extend DACA. It's a completely new program that not all current DACA holders are eligible for and it's non-renewable. It is by no means a DACA extension.

As far as illegal immigration is concerned, dreamers are pretty much in the "one of the good ones" category in the views of some avg conservatives. Public support is high even from the racists because we're "one of the good ones". So looking good right now, is basically NOT looking like an asshole. Trump hasn't touched DACA after saying he was gonna cancel it day one, and would've probably left us alone if not for cock-eyed Paxton. I feel like now that SC has taken the case, Hanen will make another excuse to kick the can down the road or just do nothing again like last time. My only regret was I think I sent in my renewal too early and will probably lose a good 4 months
