People forget that California used to be republican and the reason why they flipped blue is because how immigrants were treated and now California is a democratic stronghold since 1990's. This is why Texas used to be 20 points republican now Cruz only won by 2.6% in the latest election. The stories on how children are being treated at the border is extremely bad for Trump. When you separate kids from their parents it transcends politics because before governments, countries, or even societies, there was family. I strongly doubt any voter would vote to keep this going and a voter would more likely to vote for Trump if this isn't happening.
1 year from now, we'll all get to see the end of this DACA movie. There aren't any more interventions that can happen to delay the ending.
