Short answer, I did not.


When I applied for AOS, my DACA had been renewed 4 months prior. So being how my case is/was one of the fastest, I decided not apply for the work permit.

I can't give you a straight answer on how long it would take for the work permit to be approved since I did not apply for one, but if I were to guess I would say that it would have taken less than 4 months. To add a little extra, my process from submission to green card in hand took 9 months.

By the way, my DACA is still current until March 2020.
