I rely on DACA and would be devastated if it is taken away but not all of us can blessed with ignorance to the possibilities of it happening.
It both helps and hurts us that this is happening during the election year. Even if Supreme court upholds it, Trump can cancel DACA "the right way". Guess who still loses? To think the country would uproar is to kid yourself. Nobody is going to give two shits about us if the country is in war with Iran. Wouldn't even get air time. Things that seemed outrageous few years ago, don't even make it to the news because there are crazier things going on.

How am I ignorant of what could happen, I am the one showing all the possibilities to everyone and doing an in-depth analysis of what could happen.
It is a definite plus that this is happening to us during an election year, as I said previously DACA is temporary and meant to end. How is this a define plus? Because its such a good opportunity, probably one of the best opportunities we have.
It is the best opportunity because as you said trump can just go around and end DACA the proper way. Not sure why Trump decided to end DACA improperly, but smart money is on incompetence of Jeff Sessions.
The war in Iran is not going to happen, you calm down. Think through things rationally. Iran is not headed by fools, they know war with the United States is catastrophic and all but guarantees an Iranian defeat.
Besides, you aren't even American, this isn't even your war. You wont get drafted because there are plenty of people who would happily sign up for this fake war.

Plenty of outrageous things still make it to the news, for example how our DACA is about to die in the supreme court made it to the news. Sure, most Americans saw it and paid no attention, but we can attribute it to it being news of little importance. Even to DACAs the news is of little importance because we all know DACA is temporary. We all rely on DACA to work, live, drive, but we are not ignorant that it can be taken at any moment, for any reason, by any president, over anything.
However my main point is not that we dont care about DACAs termination, at least I do care. My point is that the termination of DACA plus a democrat failure to help us out DURING an election year will cause the democrat base to become furious. They will indeed come to our aid.
You say they wont come to our aid because there are more pressing issues. There are always more pressing issues, that won't change. If you want to make a list, we are probably after climate change, student loan reform, prison reform, equal pay reform, but before the next drought. I strongly urge the DACA community to remain strong, keep faith, build up a little nest egg of savings and prepare for DACA termination.
You are absolutely right that republicans would be happy to let us get screwed over, but that doesn't make them fools. What would be foolish, is to waste a tremendous bargaining opportunity over the dems. That does not mean they will wave the deal carrot around, because as we both know most republicans are of the "Deport them all as violently as possible" camp, whereas the "Let them stay camp" is concerned with extracting as many concessions as possible from democrats.
