Hey guys,
I had my AOS interview yesterday. Approved that same day, getting the notification about 6 hours after the interview.
7:30 AM interview, we were the first ones to be interviewed that day. Went through, checked in at the front desk, they took my picture and fingerprints then I was told to have a seat and wait to be called, waited about 15-20 minutes before getting called. My wife and I were escorted into the agent's office, sworn in and the interview started. Agent started by asking me how and when I entered the country. Also if I have ever left the country, which I have three times with AP, so I answered yes and the agent asked me why I left the country (visiting sick grandfather). Agent then asked me how my wife and I met, during the whole the interview I noticed the agent looking straight at my eyes and then looking at my bottom lip, I quickly realized that the agent might be using a lie detecting technique. Agent was nice but serious, not to the point were we felt intimidated. Agent asked us who cooked, asked to see some pictures, any evidence that has my wife's and my name on the same document. I also noticed that the agent was not just asking random questions, most questions I felt that the agent already knew the answers to. Overall the whole interview was easy and took about 30 minutes. At the end the agent told me that I will get an answer in the mail between 30-45 days but got approved that same afternoon.
Thank everybody in this forum that has help me answer any questions I've ever had. AOS process took about 9-10 months from the acceptance of AOS application to AOS interview.
BTW, I never used a lawyer for either my DACA or AOS applications, everything was done on my own using this forum and Reddit.
