Yeah that previously was okay but seems like these days you need to outright walk them through the evidence.

I got an RFE for my I-360, took apart their arguments, quoted some regulations, and went through the bank records (was like over a year, highlighted expenses, transfers from my ex's father, ex's student loan payments, other purchases I believe were made by my ex, etc), also included ring receipts and various gift receipts. Had trouble getting my tax transcripts (because IRS is fucking closed), so I cobbled up some secondary information, printouts from TurboTax, the cover paper from NY tax return check, found the check deposits on the bank statements.

I pretty much walked through everything like whoever is reviewing my case is mentally retarded because they probably are.
