Even if it's just Spending + Immigration via reconciliation, it's pie in the sky. Republicans will be fuming and the the moderate D's will cause the collapse of that grand plan.

i think there is because that was the original plan before manchin wanted to give a handjob to republicans and work on it at a bipartisan basis. If you think about it, the current bipartisan bill already explains how the bill will be paid for so is not too difficult to just roll that into the reconciliation. The hard part, paying for it, is already figured out.
