If Republicans take over congress, in all likelihood, they won't try to rescind it. If they do, you will get a ton of human interest stories about immigrants being screwed by cruelty. When parole expires, there would also be tremendous pressure to give a permanent solution.

This isn't obviously ideal and it's still questionable whether it will get passed. But I ll take it any day of the week and twice on Sunday because this is our best shot until the 2030s.
