I'm not against supporting Ukraine or their people, but there was definitely a double standard the way they were treated vs. Syrian refugees. Putin is a bastard...however, I didn't notice any Syrian flags flying in suburban backyards or city bridges with Syrian flag LED lights the way I did with Ukrainian flags.

Their excuse is that "well, Ukraine is a developed country so they share our values more and are more educated" Well shit, I guess I had no idea every Ukrainian was a god damned western scholar. No toilet scrubbers or degenerates there.

Hell, I even envy those South American migrants who got to fly to DC and see the world. I haven't left my city in 3 years and soon I can't fly either. It just gets tiring that everybody else jumps in front of us.
