I really hate posts like these here.
I get it, nothing has been done and both parties has fucked us. But it’s ok to be cautiously optimistic at times, especially when it seems like there’s a window here for once to finally get something done.
There was supposed to be a red wave. It didn’t happen. There may be a chance that GOP regroups and tries to go a bit more in the middle. Some GOP members privately want DACA legalized, they just can’t outright say it because of political ramifications.
Lame Duck is the only opportunity where they can vote a bit more freely, and next election is 2 years away where most voters will forget about whatever happened during Lame Duck of 2022 or not put much weight on.their decision on who to vote.
