All news outlets are questioning the government's lack of action on immigration reform after the tragic death of construction workers on the Baltimore bridge that collapsed yesterday. All of the dead workers are Hispanic immigrants who apparently could not be notified on time to run away from the spot on the bridge that they were repairing in the middle of the night. Migrant children are trafficked and exploited for labor at large agri and food producers. We need real and reasonable relief - a registry or essential workers' bill (also sponsored by Padilla and Durbin).
