I hope you are doing well and have gotten your GC at least. I went to Grad school and I am employed doing software engineering with one of the fortune 100s. Yes my grammar is still bad, thankfully nobody cares in software.
They even offered H1B but I recklessly/stupidly turned it down multiple times preferring the unrestricted work permit over the path to GC. We'll see how the gamble turns out.
