It’s meant to be that way. Intentionally cruel and inhumane so people voluntarily self deport. Puppy killer Kristi Noem even has stopped Congress oversight members from coming to visit these detention centers even after the members adhered to the 7 day advance to let them know they were coming.
You don't know how much you can take unless you experience it first hand, I guess. I also don’t understand why he didn’t just file a bogus asylum claim since that was his other option and for the sake of just doing something. He just signed the self deportation papers. Maybe cuz even after he filed any type of immigration case, they would still keep him in the detention center while it was pending?
Also if he had renewed his DACA, what’s to stop them from keeping him in detention center for the 2 years? That’s what I want to know.
