So technically Republicans are right to say illegal immigrants get benefits. The parents obviously are getting the stuff and choose what to do with it

Although it may seem like the illegal parents are getting benefits, the benefits are actually for US citizen children. The children cannot take care of themselves so of course, the parents need to use the benefits for the children.
That is a clear distinction that needs to be made... illegals are not getting it for themselves but for their US citizen children.
