By the way Georgia is an unforgiving state when it comes to citations, they quickly send it to collections, or if it was a traffic citation that you had to show up to court for, it quickly turns into a no court show warrant. As many have said look it up if it shows delinquent or doesn't show up hire a traffic attorney to reopen the case and explain the situation to him/her and they might be able to waive fines, of course with proof. For future reference always take a pic of your citation number, whenever you get one, and upload it to a place where you keep your personal info. I have all my license and work permit info in my Google drive, it has saved me a lot from needing to remember or carry a lot of bs.
