To the Dreamers that it may concern,

Dreamers it’s time to do something about our life. We need to have an awakening for our cause. I have made an outline based on a few ideas that you guys have provided me, I assure you that if we follow through with this ideas we will have a better opportunity next time dream comes around.
We have divided these ideas in two major groups:

1- Executable

Ideas that we need to have actions toward. Executable ideas will be sub-divided in many different sub-groups, which each sub-group will be conducted by a team of Dreamers gathered based on skills alike.

2- Behavioral

Ideas towards the conduct of an American citizen-dreamer like behavior. Behavioral ideas are philosophical ideas that will help us conduct our operations in a central, directed, unified, and most effective way.
I have gathered this ideas with the help of a few dreamers on the portal, but if you have ANYTHING that you think should be added, re-thought, or deleted I will be available to you at all times for your requirements.
Behavioral ideas:

1- Dream is not related to immigration.

In order for us to bring to must support from all resources we need to detach from the idea that dream act is part of Immigration or Immigration reform. We need to emphasize that we were BROUGHT here, we did no came at our own will. I’ve have a few conversations with my pears and the way I see Dream is more like a civil right issue. Civil right based on the fact that we didn’t immigrate into America, we are hostage of the situation that not only our parents but also society arranged us. If US didn’t let me enroll in middle school I’ve made my way back a long time ago. This is a long debate I will stop here. If we do not see ourselves as Immigrants we will behave in a more efficient manner.

2- Dream act has no country.

If we behave like dream it’s not immigration we automatically don’t include nationality to it, but since immigration or non-immigration related to dream is such a controversial debate we need to include on our ideas that no country is relate to dream; on our arguments there is no need to bring Costa Rica, Italy, England, Mexico or any country that you may have been born at involved with dream; I understand everyone should respects it’s roots but when it comes to dream there is no need to bring it up.

3- Best behavior.

Dreamer should be an example to the society; if we want to be included in the society we need to add not take anything away from it.

4- Convert people.

One of the main focus of us Dreamers is to bring people to our side. US is not a hostile place; the few people that are against us are only against us because they have been lied to and convinced by a even smaller minority. One of our philosophies is reveal what dream is but proving it, not only with words.

5- Unity-

Dream has a community of over one million undocumented people; plus all citizens with good morals that will support us once they know the truth; if we can unify a few thousands we will be EXTREMELY successful.

Executable ideas:

1- Web Marketing-

Many dreamers have suggested the creation of multiple websites. I have heard about a website to include the truth about dream, a web sites that will reveal political issues such as “filibustering” and a few GOPER’s supposed racism, a web site that will bring citizens attention with interesting factors and dream included in between. We need to unite all people with computer skills in this group to support us with this idea. If you are a computer genius this would be your sub-group.

2- A podcast/video blog-

I have had a dreamer mention to me that podcast is good method of communication; I do not know a lot about podcasts or video blogs. I believe that if it came from a passionate dreamer it’s something worth looking into. This sub-group would be ideal for people with filmmaking, or video and audio editing experience.

3- Rally/Human Activism-

This would be a sup-group in charge of organizing rallies, human walks, hunger strikes, anything related to a more physical approach. This is for the brave dreamers that are not afraid to show their faces, or risk deportation; I value and respect you guys a lot.

4- Funding-

This sub-group is responsible to hunt for funding for our campaigns, on our local communities, online, sending letters, there are multiple methods for us to acquire funding. Political groups, corporations, religions groups, civil right groups, there are many, many options out there which we need to explore. Ideal group for business majors, or passionate people with good selling skills.

5- Recruiting-

This sub-group will be in charge of finding more people to help us on our mission, find more web designer people, more podcasters, more funding people, more of every single group. This group will be a key for our growth and victory. This group should not be looking for only dreamers but citizens as well to join us. Anyone who thinks may be able to move us forward.

6- Information/Intelligence-

This sub-group will be in charge to support all other sub-groups, it’s the sub-group responsible for the research of valuable data to expose on the web sites, to support the video blog with information, to help locate strategic places where rallies should be held at, help the funding group find organizations willing to help us, help the recruiting crew find people, in general organize data to all other sub-groups in the most efficient mater. The group would also be responsible to call politicians once a month to ask about their current position towards dream to see if we have made any improvements, also to relate and build rapport with politician’s staffers or politicians. This sub-group would be ideal for people with good communication skills, writing skills, and researching skills.

7- Mass Marketing.

This sub-group will be implemented at a later stage of you campaign. Once we have established relationships with other groups and a we have constant funds coming in we will be able to move a bigger marketing campaign about dream, on local TV, radio or other methods of mass communication.

Dreamers, we need to organize our sub-groups as soon as possible; read this outline a few times; find your place where you feel you will be able to help the most, if you choose more than one sub-group great. If I left any point you think it’s important on our campaign PLEASE let me know at your earliest convenience. There are a few ideas and details that I left out, but we will talk more about it on our own sub-groups. I wrap up this outline with one word we need to live: Courage - “The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger, fear, or vicissitudes with self-possession, confidence, and resolution; bravery.”

God bless

p.s. (The conference call is leaning towards Sunday 26th at 8 P.M. Central, send me a p.m. if you can’t make it. I will set it all up and confirm with you guys date and time on the portal.)

Will this be to push da only or is there a moratorium involved too? Frankly if it's for da, it's a waste of resources and time. We've (not just dreamers but legal residents, usc's, friends, families, supporters etc.) been let down and deceived (well, at least the ones that believed... Lol ) and the wise choice would be to used the tactics out lined by you to petition a moratorium.

this is an ambitious agenda -- one fit for the cause. politicians play to their constituents, and unfortunately the antis dominated this round. agree that an expansion of voting blocs that support Dream would hugely benefit the movement. The Latino voting bloc had a major impact. We need to augment this with other groups that are willing to participate civically. College students are an obvious choice -- they played a significant role in the anti-apartheid movement. Perhaps the senior voting bloc should also be explored -- there are all sorts of reasons seniors may be interested in supporting Dream (Dreamers would increase tax base contributing to social security, etc.). Should we start some type of volunteer initiative for seniors so they get to know our cause, etc.? Maybe file this under "convert people" or "increase citizen support." What are the conference call details?

Dear President Obama,
Many presidents have been faced with great challenges throughout American history. Some have been at the forefront of courageous decisions that defined them as a great president.
Since George Washington presidents have used Executive Orders to correct an injustice
In 1862 President Lincoln by Executive Order suspended the writ of habeas corpus and issued the Emancipation Proclamation .
President Truman by Executive Order integrated the armed forces of the United States.
President Eisenhower by Executive Order desegregated schools.
President Kennedy and President Johnson by Executive Order barred racial discrimination in federal housing, hiring and contracting.
Mr. President you have the will of the House of Representatives and the majority vote in the United States Senate to correct an injustice to children who were brought to the United States without their consent and were raised here as loyal patriotic Americans. In a sense they are American refugees.
These great Presidents could no longer stand on the side lines and tolerate the injustices and suffering of so many people.
Mr. President find it in your heart and ask God for the wisdom and justice that you may have the courage by Executive Order to implement the will of the United States House of Representatives and the Senate of the United States. Grant a temporary status for children with college degrees or willing to serve in the United States military.
Sincerely,
Children who grew up loving the United States of America

I think we may also need a sub-group of moral support for dreamers. There are many people who are not working at their full potential because they don't think there is any hope for them in the future, they may think that there is nothing for them to do after they graduate high school and that getting into a college or being able to attend college is not possible because their state may not provide any kind of assistance to their future education.

I get a couple e-mails every so often that result from a series of DREAM Act related responses to questions in other sites. They are fellow dreamers that are not aware of the potential for them to move further ahead then their high school education, I usually cite this website and the stories of many of us that have been able to get into college in hopes that they are motivated to get into schools and I am glad to say that at least one of the dreamers, the one I have been able to follow-up on has been able to get into a college who thought it was not even possible.

Ultimately this could become more of an investment to create more wonderful stories of individuals going against all odds to make the grades, to become involved in communities by volunteering, to become involved in research, development and investment to this country's economic future.

P.S., my response to my state not giving in-state tuition to me who has been in its education system since elementary school and whose parents have been paying more then the average citizens in taxes because they could not apply for tax exemptions given to every resident due to their lack of legal status at the time... The entire country was in my application pool, for the most part private universities, and the one that gave me a private scholarship that i could afford became the school I currently attend. If I had legal status due to my grades the state would have offered me at least 75% tuition assistance on the in-state tuition rate plus other scholarship options for any school in the state of Florida. All hope is not lost and I want to ensure that every dreamer is aware that there is always hope for their future.
