DREAM Act protesters close Obama campaign office
June 7, 2012, 2:26 p.m. CDT
AP

DENVER (AP) — A Colorado campaign office for President Barack Obama is closed to the public after two activists went on a hunger strike inside.

The activists camped out at the Denver office Thursday are part of a five-person group of illegal immigrant students walking across the country to demand the president sign an executive order enacting the DREAM Act.

They said they began the strike Tuesday evening. Campaign staffers are using a back door in an alley to get into the office.

The DREAM Act would allow the children of illegal immigrants to enroll in college or the military and eventually establish citizenship or permanent residency in the U.S.

The Obama campaign says it supports the cause but that the only permanent solution is to have Congress pass the DREAM Act.

LOL'd at that. Not that they are afraid, they still have to open the front door afterward They just didn't want to bother to walk in and have eye contacts with them.

Now where is Rubio's DA? That's more interesting man.

Then why are we still sitting in his office? What for? They are just after that "headline: we want to pass dream act now." which I totally disagree with (and not to mention I got fucking censor for my geniune opinon).

Fine. Now just leave the office and march to every senator and representative in every sate and district. Do that, and you surely will have the pressure on the nation! Pressure on getting DA up would be nice. At least add more fuels to the debate tank! Don't just sit in the office and let other side uses us.

We did this in San Antonio for yesterday's Romney appearance. He went through the back door even though there was a few of us, lol. Also, I got this from a leader activist, Obama is feeling the pressure and he is very well aware of what we are going through. He will take some kind of action after the SB 1070 ruling of the supreme court. I don't know what kind of action, but he will do something.

"Pressure" will not get anything done regarding the Dream Act, it's all a waste of time.

Sitting on the floor will not get anything done either.
NY Times didn't even report what's happening in Denver.

Go walk from town to town, city to city, in the next 6 months, I am sure something will get done.
