“I am concerned that the bipartisan group has been unable to wrap up their work,” the Ohio Republican said Thursday morning.

“And I know there are some very difficult issues that have come up, and I continue to believe that the House needs to deal with this, the House needs to work its will,” he added. “How we get there, we’re still dealing with it.”

Reps. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) and John Carter (R-Texas) both said that Thursday night’s meeting will be their last if the group cannot come to agreement on a plan. They are haggling over how the legislation deals with health care for immigrants on the pathway to citizenship, and the number of work visas the government will issue.

Both Labrador and Carter have said that they will release a GOP only proposal if they cannot come to agreement on a bipartisan plan.

Why are these monkeys even trying to make a bill??? Add some damn amendments to the senate version and adopt that as the bill. It's obvious the gang of 8 have put a considerable amount of work and are serious about it.. Why are these kids trying to get one too? If CIR is going to pass its going to be the senates version not some laughable piece of half ass legislation in the House of Representatives
