It is not directly related to immigration, DREAM ACT, or DACA.
But, it is sad to see a reasonable voice and supporter of immigration in GOP gone.... Only very few are left in the Republican Party if any... Although he has been missing in the Senate for a while now, his absence will never be a good thing for us.

As Arizona's governor is a Republican, he will nominate a Republican to fill John McCain's seat until 2020. So, it won't change. Still, it is bad for us because the governor will probably nominate someone more conservative or radical than John McCain. The winner of the 2020 Senate election will serve the rest of John McCain's 6-year term, which ends in 2022. After that, anyone can win the seat, I guess.

McCain killed dream act 2010 but he was not alone, 5-6 democrats helped him.

I'm now a green card holder. But i will always remember that in 2010 McCain voted against the dream act. His vote wouldn't have made a difference as we needed 5 votes. However, I am of the belief that ypu should be true to yourself in good and in bad. Thus, McCain never truely believe in the dream act. Mr. MaCain thank you for your support while you needed political coverage on our back. Mr. McCain may you rest in peace. Meet your maker and now answer to him.
