I think I saw on Univision something about DREAM last night, but I think It was only local. They mentioned that dream could come with immigration reform

hey guys i wrote this to telemundo FEEL free to use it too. bye JUST change the NAME to yours.

Hello,

My name is Jaime S. I am an undocumented student that is hoping for the DREAM ACT to pass this year. On March 26, 2009 the DREAM ACT was introduced by Sen. Durbin; this was a major step in helping undocumented immigrants. Unfortunately the battle is not won and we need the support of the media, specially spanish language newscast like Telemundo. Undocumented immigrants like myself are very thankful for everything your station has done to help out those that have been struggling with immigration issues. We all support your station and the professionalism that your organization presents to the public specially the spanish speaking community.

The DREAM ACT has been defeated in recent years by as few as 8 votes in the Senate. This unfortunate event devestated the spirits of many of us but did not take our hope away. In recent months I have been part of a grassroots movement of undocumented immigrant students that have been organizing to pass the DREAM ACT this time around. The reality is that we have a strong opposition from organizations like FAIR and others that don't want undocumented immigrants to achieve the American dream. I, along with many others like myself ask that you PLEASE bring the DREAM ACT into the public eyes by talking about it on your TV news segment.

I would like to thank you again for everything Telemundo has done for our community and know that we will always support those that support us.

Thank you,

Jaime S.

The last time the Dream Act was introduced, Don Francisco made a little segment in Sabado Gigante a days before it was filibustered. Here is a link of his home page. Every time there is an important deal with immigration, he is the only one that separates a segment for it.
