ARE YOU guys getting the same Problem when calling senators?

When i called other senators they asked for my ZIP code and obviously i gave them the zip code from that district BUT then they asked me for my address and phone number, I told them i prefer not to give it out cus I dont live in that district.

ARE YOU GUYS getting the same when you call outside your ZIP CODE? How do you guys deal with it?

Correction: I didnt tell the rep that i dont live in that district i just told them "i prefer not to give my address or phone" ?

Nope. I only got that once and I said "I'll give you the name of my city, but I prefer to keep my address private". Make sure you sound confident, and not like you just got caught off guard.

You have already asked this question in the News Forum and you got an answer. Please refrain from asking multiple times and especially making a thread about it. What you did was fine. Lots of people don't feel comfortable giving out their addresses and phone numbers and the aids have to respect that.
