Majority Leader Reid wants to pass CIR or some sort of immigration legislation because he's up for re-election in Nevada and wants to make the Hispanic vote happy or at least satisfied for the time being.

And certain segments of labor such as the service industry based SEIU like CIR . Other labor groups might like CIR if it doesn't include a big guest worker program which ILW is saying is not included in the House version.

Man, sometimes many of you guys' arrogance gets on my nerves. Instead of trying put anyone down for their grammar mistakes, wouldn't it be better to write an constructive comment and guide them instead of acting all "educated". Or maybe if you actually took your time and try to read what he is trying to say. not everyone here has a Masters and not everyone here has had much success with school. It's not arrogance, when criticizing someone who's been on the boards as long as he has, to take the extra 5 minutes to proof read his post. I don't see how that's asking for too much.
