More Hearings on Immigration.

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), who chairs the Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees and Border Security, last month initiated talks with the White House on pushing a comprehensive immigration bill this year, and has begun a series of hearings on immigration, border security and related issues . After an initial hearing in late April, the Committee will hold another hearing on May 20th, at 10:00 am, that will focus on securing our borders.

Extremely happy to see how dedicated our Senator from New York is on this issue. This idea of addressing border security first will really help our cause in the long run. Hopefully these hearings result in full debate in both the Senate and House this summer.

Its always good to see immigration getting some light in these financially hard time.
