Wow, lucky guy. At least one of us gets good news... let's hope this does something for our cause (at the very least it might get us some exposure).

Read the comments on that page, below the article. Truly disgusting. People just don't understand that we didn't come here on our own will and accord. I myself was brought here when I was 8 years old. How the hell would I at the ripe old age of 8 could have told my parents..Go and leave me here.

Sigh, I know. The sad thing for me is that I actually live here in WA and people aren't nearly as bad as in other states. I can't imagine what they would say in Tennessee, Ohio, or Arizona. People are so stupid. After reading tons of comments like that, though, I've realized that our opposition has nothing better to do than to just sit in front of a computer googling "immigration" and commenting on any article that comes up. There's a few users that I recognize across the boards. Nut jobs...

They're the California transplants. What they do not realize is they are just as unwated here.

What's with these "immigration rights" groups. I'm all for immigration, but do it legally, come through the front door, take your tests, wait in line like all the other people do.

All this is doing, and all our great Senator has done is give people a reason to illegally come to this country. They mine as well say, "hey come on in illegally, stay a while, use our services, go to our schools, and no worries, we won't do anything about it".

It's not a matter me being an a**, it has nothing to do with race, it has to do with principal. If you cut corners and breaks for this guy who is illegal, then you mine as well do it for everyone. I have nothing against the kid, he might be the nicest guy in the world, but principals are principals and laws are laws.
Ugh...I so want to reply on this guy's comment and say "First of all, it's PRINCIPLES, and second of all it's MIGHT AS WELL". Geeez...if they're going to insult undocumented immigrants in writing, then they should at least do it right.

Anyway, this looks like a good exposure for dreamers. Maybe the world just needs to see what we have to offer. I'm glad he's speaking for all of us.

Oh trust me I live in Georgia and they are horrible. They look at us like were trash and the racist ones down here are even worse. The best thing I do is smile and tell them to have a good day if I see any of them at a store or walking because if I hate back its just like I would be acting like them.

the comments are so anti american and clearly half the the people need to be educated on the subject. all of the comments are factually innacurate, IT has Nothing To do with opinion, it just facts that can be proven. Nothing will change until somebody pays for 30 mins of tv time to DEBUNK every immigration myth the average person out there believes.
