Last week Lindsay Graham indicated that if Democrats passed health care reform using reconciliation, that would spell the end of immigration reform. Now he is reversing that position. Graham was interviewed on Univision that he is still on board.

It's kind of hard to hear what he is saying because of the interpreter. Maybe Spanish speaking dreamers can give us a summary of what he said ?

Good find, I was worried him leaving would push back this bill indefinitely again.

I listened to most of it.. sounds like he was probably going to be against it if the dems tried to win healthcare reform the shady way. He's back in now, right? That's a good thing.

Oh hahaha, thank you sweetie! I must admit I have given over to the dark side... I mostly lurk now. I finally left helltown (a.k.a. Boca) and now that I'm back in Orlando life's quite chaotic. I'm still looking for a job, and I managed to get some activist work done IRL, LoL. It's very exciting But I think this is hardly the thread to discuss my personal life outside of DAP, LoL.

Well, this is really hopeful news. But I hope he wasn't saying it just for that specific audience . Sometimes it seems like some of these politicians say one thing for the Spanish-speaking media, and then another thing on the mainstream media.

Basically all he said was that passing health care w/o bipartisan support was dumb && that immigration won't be so lucky, && explained why it's not amnesty.
