Maybe with greater advocacy, Sen Gregg will assist.

Great video, i think we should try to get him to co-sponsor the dream act since he talked about recruiting the brightest and smartest people to the U.S.

This is off topic, but people who log on to this website make me feel so dumb. Most of you have such a strong will, and i admire that so much. Who feels like that? I have a feeling that if we would go out in front of congress, then they could not denied us, and those who apposed us would feel very dumb beacause they would see that we are American.

Who all here is going to the march on May 1st? This is our chance to try to get something. I am all in favor of supporting the DREAM Act as a stand-alone bill, which is what we should all be trying to do. I attended the march on 5-21-10 and honestly being part of something so massive does give you hope, but then you get back home and it's still the same or worse, if we can have significant numbers for the DREAM Act on May 1st, then I really think we can pressure the congressmen to push the DREAM Act this year.

Have you all forgotten that Dream Act was reintroduced in BOTH chambers exactly one year ago?? And bipartisanly to top it all. Who do you think shelved it? It was the Democratic leadership in Congress; they shelved it - again- with the promise of 'future' immigration reform with a 'committment' to it passing in 2009, but really, not later than "early 2010". God, I feel a bit bitter. Early 2010 was Jan - March. And now, what do we hear and from whom???? Nothing and no one. I cannot fathom what the Democrats and the president can possibly have to say and be able, as used as they are to lying, to keep a straight face, which is why they are keeping mum. They will be caught and put on the spot the moment they start gibbering in public about keeping their promise, because you know, they are very "committed". Next we will hear that well, it'll now be "probably" 2011. Since you don't have a word to your name; then I agree: All activist organizations should be asking for the moon and then some. If the administration has changed its mind on this issue - and they have all been lying all this time - then why should we hold back? It was the Democratic -controlled HOUSE under Pelosi that shelved CIR 2007. And Obama and many Democrats kept offering ' poison' amendements to kill it; I went back to C-Span and researched it as it is was all a blur in my mind now. There's a growing underground movement on the web and in print, mainly in the Hispanic community, about abandoning the blind support they've given to Democrats. I read three articles about it today. They are encouraging immigration reform supporters to become swing, registered Independent voters and take their voice to whoever can get their interests enacted. It is what every other voting group does, including the ridiculous tea-party.
