The second possible Republican senator

"Republican Senator Judd Gregg has spelled out his vision for immigration reform in detailed remarks to New Hampshire media. Notably, he stopped short of supporting a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, the main sticking point on this issue.

In the remarks, Gregg says he supports policies that would encourage undocumented immigrants “to come out from behind the bushes” and somehow legalize their status, but without putting them on a path to citizenship."

The youtube link for his remarks are in the same page. Although he has not yet completely supported a path to citizenship , he seems to support a path to " legalization".

I thought this would cheer up some, so i thought i would share it with you guys.

Yea I saw that on March 30th. How do you know just come out of the shadows and 'somehow' legalize their status? Magic? So that means you can still be a PR.

I dont see how that makes sense...and it just makes things more frustrating for people who are trying to give full support, and provide a pathway. If your not going to fully support it then join the club of people who dont support it.

You guys are not seeing the big picture here. Politics is the art of compromise. He can very well be persuaded to vote for a pathway to citizenship ( no matter how much watered-down the final bill might be). As long as there is one, then people can get legalized.

It might take a long time, but if it is done, then in my personal opinion is good.

In short, all i am saying, Senator Gregg could vote for immigration reform.
