Those words would be appropriate if they were directed towards Republicans especially the likes of Lamar Smith and John McCain. I feel that Harry and Co. are trying their best to continue on their momentum from the victory of health care and financial regulatory reform.

Agreed! though Reid did set this artificial deadline, we know he is a supporter of our cause and would vote in favor of us time after time.

The Lemar Smiths, the Jeff Sessions, the Vitters will do everything in there power to fight us, or any legalization for hard working immigrants, they are the guys that are screwed in the head.

Harry Reid is a softy, not just on the immigration issue, but in general he is a little softy. And honesty, I wouldn't mind if he loses his reelection bid, and democrats pick up another seat somewhere else. And granted that Dems keep the majority, Durbin would be running the show.

And I think Shumer would have a good shot at becoming minority leader.
