With his approval rating plunging, along with the economy and faced with growing criticism for the lack of federal enforcement of U.S. immigration laws, Obama knows that there will be no vote before November, on so-called ‘comprehensive immigration reform,’ (amnesty for illegal aliens).

Unable to deliver amnesty as he promised, at least through Constitutional means, there is mounting concern that Obama will use the power of executive order to do so.

As I have said before…We will be told that granting citizenship to such a large group of people at once will be a tremendous boost to our tax base, and end our exploding budget deficits.

Of course, the vast majority of illegal aliens do not now, nor will they ever make enough money to even qualify for income taxes, they will simply join the 48 percent of Americans who currently pay nothing and our National Debt will continue to soar.

The real reason Obama wants to grant amnesty to the mostly Hispanic population, is to secure the vote that they would then have as American citizens. Obama believes that doing so would assure Democratic control of the White House and Congress for the next several generations.

At least eight U.S. Senators believe that Obama is preparing to order DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide a defacto amnesty, through the use of massive deferred action or parole for the millions of illegal aliens now living inside our borders.

Take a look at the guy's other articles. He's anti-immigration, so this is nothing more than some fluff piece to get the anti-immigrant population up in arms.

Not even a 0.1% chance of happening, do not even think about it.

This is a piece from an anti-immigration writer and anti-immigration Senators to rile up their racist base and score political points.

Don't get your hopes up, the DREAM Act is still our best and only bet.

Are you serious? This is crap writing. This idiot contradicts himself twice. I usually don't bother writing comments on these types of articles but on this one i have to.

"the vast majority of illegal aliens do not now, nor will they ever make enough money to even qualify for income taxes, they will simply join the 48 percent of Americans who currently pay nothing and our National Debt will continue to soar."

Last year i made 21,000 on one job, the federal government taxed me 3000, the state government taxed me about 300. At the end of the year i got 900+120 back. So this guy is telling me that the government never received 2000+ dollars from me? oh wait i never made enough money to be taxed... He can thank 8+ years in war plus these stupid politicians who continue to exploit the working class (poor and middle income) people while corporations continue to make billions of dollars through the death and slavery of the poor. He can thank Bush junior for giving corporations extensive tax breaks. Ask Halliburton how much money they made last year? ask them if the war affected their profits? lol Ask blackwater/XE Inc. if they have lost any multi billion dollar contracts lately? David Gibson, please tell the truth, ask yourself how many billions of dollars that is being stolen from undocumented immigrants continue to keep afloat the Social Security system?

Obama wants to secure the Hispanic vote? yeah in 15 plus years because that's at least how long it would take someone to become a citizen if they ever passed comprehensive immigration reform. 15+ years is enough time for the conservatives to get your shit together and actually work for the people and not corporations. Oh and you don't have to worry about Hispanics voting, they don't do so in large numbers even when they are given the opportunity, their like your pal Meg Whitman in that sense.

We should probably wait to see if another media source (a more trustworthy one) reports on this.

But one question. If President Obama wanted to do this, could he?

U.S. Senators React To Rumors of Possible Blanket Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants
http://www.kfyi.com/pages/local_news...rticle=7271350

Eight Senators send a letter to President Obama.

(KFYI News) Eight Republican senators have sent President Obama a letter telling him he would be making a mistake if he were to order Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to give a blanket amnesty for the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants living here.

Read the letter here. http://www.kfyi.com/cc-common/mlib/6...1277222306.pdf

The senators, including Orrin Hatch of Utah and Chuck Grassley of Iowa, have been hearing about a possible plan by the Obama Administration to give what is called deferred action or parole to every illegal alien living here, if the Administration is unable to get 60 votes in the Senate for a blanket amnesty.

The senators acknowledge the President has the authority to do that, but advise he would be making a mistake if he were to circumvent Congress's authority to write immigration policy.

Could it be true, the president has had it with "lawmakers" who don't like to make laws? Hahahaha. This is classic....

"While agree our immigration laws need to be fixed, we are deeply concerned about the potential expansion of deferred action or parole for a large illegal alien population. While deferred action and parole are Executive Branch authorities, they should not be used to circumvent Congress' constitutional authority to legislate immigration policy, particularly as it relates to the illegal population in the United States."

"We would appreciate receiving a commitment that the Administration has no plans to use either authority to change the current position of a large group of illegal aliens already in the United States, and ask that you respond to us about this matter as soon as possible."

OMG, they've got to be f****ing kidding!!!! And this is from a group of Senators that had to include a holier-than-thou, prostitute-seeking philanderer (Vitter)

This is the way I read it: "Mr. President would you promise us not to use the power bestowed upon you and the Executive Branch by the Constitution to fix a problem that we as "lawmakers" have no intention to fix? Please, please do not make this issue go away, because we plan to continue to exploit the vulnerable for months, and if we can, years to come for fundraising and for opportunities to seek office in regressive, Tea-party states like Arizona. Don't you dare use all the legal tools available to your administration to tackle this problem, we want to be able to tell you how and when to do it. You're no Bush, you know, and you don't look like us, so don't pretend that you can just sit at your desk and sign orders as presidents past have done, like invading countries and waste trillions of hard-earned taxpayers' money in enriching military/industrial croonies. That is our job. Also, you speak clearly and we cannot understand you."

To which President Obama should say: "You will respect my authority". Sign.
