New Texas Immigration-Reduction Group Formed
Tuesday, October 5, 2010, 10:46 AM EDT - posted on NumbersUSA

The Texas Alliance for America Legal Defense & Education Fund (TAALDEF) was formed to educate Texans about the causes of large scale immigration and its effect on the quality of life for current and future generations, as well as to assist like-minded activists and groups. Its goal is to “level the playing field in the battle for rule-of-law immigration policy” said TAALDEF Executive Director Rebecca Forest.

Forest, a former President of the Immigration Reform Coalition of Texas (IRCOT), noted “For too long, our opposition has waged war on U.S. citizens with massive tax deductible donations from their supporters, large foundations and corporations, and yes -- even from our own government!...This battle will be won state-by-state, county-by-county, and city-by-city. That fact is why it is so important to have information specific to Texas available for our activist supporters and partners to access and circulate.”

Forest believes the upcoming Texas session will be very different from the last one given the growing state deficit and the likelihood of illegal aliens leaving states like Arizona in search of new homes. Texas legislators are already lining up to introduce immigration enforcement that end the sanctuary policies attractive to illegal aliens.

Maria Martinez, the new Executive Director of IRCOT, said “I look forward to continuing the relationships with our (state and national) partners in 2011 to insure that the Texas legislature understands and passes strong legislation this session…Our growing Texas deficit could be cut significantly if Texas agencies were to identify and cut benefits/services to our illegal alien population and end dangerous sanctuary city policies in Texas.”

To learn more about these innovative organizations, visit the web sites for TAALDEF and IRCOT.

Those people are sell outs, they think they are better than everyone else because the came to this country "The right way." When they do not even realize the lack of choice the people had. when they lost it all in their home countries or were brought here without a choice

Her and Marco Rubio in florida are no different they believe themselves better than the other people who came here only because they were lucky enough to get/have their papers. they are like someone who managed to quit smoking, or someone who went "straight edge" they see people who hasent as weak minded and inferior, when in reality they are just annoying

the worst ones are those who were undocumented at one point or another, managed to come through with their cases, and now speak down upon undocumented folk.

now that there is a real asshole.. At least I can see why mark rubio is a selfish bastard. 1 bc he's cuban and they never have to go through shit to get papers and 2 bc he's a politician fighting for his political career in the Republican party out of all others.

maria martinez.. Man idk wtf is HER problem though. But I see these guys like this.. I'll give you an analogy: ...its like if 1,000 slaves were given freedom and citizenship back in the slave days and then 250 of them started advocating for slavery to stay in place. Yea I know a lil far fetched but tell me it's not relatable.

You really think Texas can go without the thousands of undocumented persons that contribute to its economy?

Pointless... Stupid... Impossible...
