SB 1070 Spreading to Cali

Not official news yet.
But I was speaking with a local officer with the sheriff dept. working through the Alameda/Contra Costa County Areas in California and he said that SB1070 is spreading to Cali. He was saying that the sheriff are already being told to crack down on illegal drivers and that if any drivers look suspect they are authorized to pull them over as long as they can prove reasonable suspicion. At which time they are to throw the book at anyone caught and exercise their power to the full extent of the law. Futhermore he said that many law efnorcements officials beleive that our Governator is in full support of such a bill in Cali, despite all the words coming out of Schwarzenegger mouth currently.

I didn't believe him so i continued the conversation probing for more answers. Basically they are being told to watch their demeanor but crack down hard where ever possible on the activities of illegals. (This officer officially retired last week after being instructed on this new policy, he is not in support of this racist policy, the officer is of Asian decent)

Again not official news yet, just a heads up form an insider into the world of those who now play god.

Eh..yeah we're screwed.. Ok guys time to pack up and leave now!

San Fransisco boycotted AZ, so did West Hollywood and Los Angeles is on the verge of it. It would create havoc, especially Los Angeles being one of the biggest cities in the U.S.

...but then again, people in Congress have been doing whatever the hell they want lately regardless of backlash.

This is to say that we need CIR at a Federal level.

I'm not convinced,I understand things are difficult and will become so in the years to come but I don't see how it can expected that the entire State will implement something as rigorous as SB 1070 in California of all places.

1.The state doesn't have the money.....

2.The California State Legislature wouldn't approve of it.

3.I don't see the 'Terminator' implementing something at the State level administratively like State troopers being allowed to ask for status.

The only thing I can see the state implementing is 287g in Jails alone.The resources just aren't there to replicate what Arizona has done.It is also more likely localities would approve of such things.

It's not going to happen. It's a fact that some police departments in so-cal actively seek out hispanics. The Escondido police department in San Diego county puts checkpoints in Hispanic-heavy areas and check for licenses...those without licenses get sent to the station and the police department "graciously" provides a Spanish-speaking border patrol translator to enquire on the persons immigration status. Nothing new.

A couple of years ago I remember when the Carlsbad Police department *also in San Diego county* used to go after day laborers but people started to get pissed off and they adopted a more immigrant friendly stance. You can forget SB1070 from happening in California, even the rich racist fcks in Orange and San Diego counties will oppose it...i mean who's going to be their house keepers? Their gardeners? Their baby sitters? Their construction workers? Knowing that they'd get slapped with jail time if caught "harboring" any illegal is enough for them to say *thanks but no thanks, we're fine with our illegals*.

Federal judges and the Obama administration have blocked it from being implemented. Arizona's still in terrible shape with the immigration issue, especially because of the attempted assassination of Gabrielle Giffords. SB 1070 will be fully repealed, 2013 will eventually present it's self and it's another opportunity to pass the Dream act.
