Who cares. She was never an issue for this cause. Typical Republican going down without a flame.

Good news. That is one less congress person we have to defeat in 2012. Hope she is at peace after leaving thousands of young students in limbo.

She will be replaced by a far right congress man look at her district here in Texas all republican. The state of Texas now has a 46 seat majority Republicans so be careful what you wish for you might get a freaking tyrant right winger.

You have to be aware that even if a Democrat is elected in 2012, he or she may also be against the DREAM Act. Remember that a few Democrats (including you, Kay Hagan) voted against the act in December.

"She voted against the DREAM Act in spite of a large Hispanic constituency and their desire to see it pass. The negative sentiment of the Latino Texas community grew when she refused to meet with immigrant student hunger-strikers, to listen to their pleas. After voting no on the DREAM ACT Hutchison released the following statement:"

“I could not support the DREAM Act legislation brought before the Senate today because it expanded the scope of the bill beyond the intended individuals who were brought here as children and grew up and were educated in the United States. Such serious legislation should be brought up in a time frame that allows for consideration, deliberation and consensus through full debate and amendments.”

That's a crappy excuse from her, in my opinion. Just face it, you don't really like these kinds of people anyway. You would refer to them as illegal aliens, and that's ridiculous.
