It would force the hand of the white house and Senate Democrats. IF Repubs want a national E-verify then they would have to compromise with Senate Dems otherwise they won't get a thing.

This will most likely pass the lower house. Reid will most likely then attach the DREAM Act to this in the Senate. He said he would consider such a strategy. LifeDreamer you posted a video in the lounge section demonstrating that Durbin gave a speech on the DREAM Act on June 9th. A coincidence? I think Senate Democrats saw this coming and are strategizing.
